I am completely baffled by fans who keep whining about the departure of Lana Lang from this show and the actress who played her. And, I am annoyed by One Tree Hill collection those same fans who keep harping about Erica Durance. To those, I simply say: Get a life! This show was reborn for the better in season 4 when cheapest Grey Anatomy complete seasons Erica Durance joined the cast as Lois Lane. She has chemistry with every guy she's been paired up with on the show - especially, Tom Welling. Need I remind anyone of the depressing darkness of the first three seasons - especially the third season?! This is supposed to be the coming of age story of Superman How I Met Your Mother season 1-5 box set - not some Marvel Comics creation or even Batman! Superman is supposed to be lighter and more ethereal - he is the greatest male superhero that's ever been created though I admit concern over the Smallville producers' handeling of the stories. Lana Lang was NEVER supposed to be this huge of a part in Clark's life. And, sorry, but the actress who played this insanely obnoxious character and Tom Welling's interaction with eachother was mediocre, at best. Lang should have been phased out in season 6 and only been in a few episodes of season 7 - and not returned at all for season 8.
Erica Durance should have been in all 22 episodes of the last two seasons. It's absolutely ridiculous that this show in the stage that's in is still not granting Lois Lane leading lady status and yet for another long season, granting the fabricated chloe sullivan(allison mack) more money and a bigger part in the Superman lore. Loyalty is a good thing but not where can I buy One Tree Hill dvds at the very considerable expense of sacrificing the excellence of the classic Superman story. I loved that they introduced Lois Lane when they did but once they intoduced her, they should given her her rightful place second only to Clark Kent within the storyline. Instead, they settled for hum drum ratings in keeping the story stagnant and every time they took one step forward, they'd take two steps backward. The only reason why I keep watching this show is because of Erica House MD dvd complete box set Durance. My friends and I don't even bother watching the show when we know she won't be in it. Not Babylon 5 dvd seasons 1-5 full screen only does she have the star quality to carry this show, but she has what it takes Sex and the City season 1-6 complete to carry any show, tv movie or feature film. (No one can How I Met Your Mother complete season say the same for the very little ms. kreuk - her feature film debut bombed at the box office.) Laura Vandervoort who played Supergirl also deserves kudos - and an apology from the producers for totally Gilmore Girls dvd collection 1-7 underutilizing her - she was yet another tragic casualty of the Lana/Chloe imposition. Oh, how I hope that with the shedding of all but two of the show's producers, the two remaining will man up and just go for it, lift the series out of its dulldrums for season 9, kill off chloe, give Erica/Lois her rightful place and make Clark finally stop whining like a Hamlet on drugs!! Though hampered by the writer's strike, and the fact that many of our favorite character's contracts expired, I wanted to list some of the things I liked about season 7 and think it was almost as good as the amazing seasons 5/6 (caution of minor spoilers):Millar Gough Ink still involved and true to formLana and Clark finally living together and the complicationsLex's buried good side briefly resurfaces.Lana's dark side surfacesThe whole Lana, Lex, Lionel dynamic-great actors!Lana Chloe and Clark working togetherThe addition of Kara and some cool Krypton backgroundContinued excellent music far beyond the usual tv seriesLex finally finding out buy Friends dvd set box online Clark's secret, much like Lana finding it out at the How I Met Your Mother dvd set cheap end of season 6, was a strong moment.I think a lot of negative reviews might stem from the fact that people know it will never be as good again with the strongest protagonists all leaving the show at the end of season 7
I'm a huge fan of Smallville. I hope the eighth season gets even better. It's complete collection of Supernatural a pity that this season they didn't put many features on each single DVD. I hope the new production group don't go far from the original script and that they achieve more episodes. As always, Amazon.com does a very good job delivering what we purchase in the expected time frame and with no hassles. Don't hesitate! Smallville will get you addicted from teh beginning till the end.
Husband and son were just completed season seven. We can honestly say that this was the BEST season of Smallville. The season was filled with excitement and suspense. We have recommended it CSI New York seasons 1-6 dvd to all of our friends. We cannot wait to see what will happen in season eight. Bones season 1-5 dvd
